Hollywood has always had a home in the pages of Architectural Digest. Singers, dancers, ingenues, character actors, directors, producers, talk-show hosts, and the most legendary of stars have opened their doors to the magazine over the decades. AD’s March issue, for instance, features a cast of A-listers up-close and personal, from Sir Elton John in Beverly Hills to actor Will Ferrell in New York City to singer-songwriter John Legend in Los Angeles. Which inspired us to look back to the golden age of Hollywood and create a slide show of Tinseltown legends in their off-screen habitats as they appeared in our pages.
