About

The woman-founded and led team behind Electric Bowery, established in 2013, is a collaborative group of architects and interior designers led by licensed architects and design principals, Lucia Bartholomew and Cayley Lambur. They guide their studio by blending their individual and joint experiences in both residential and hospitality projects, their entrepreneurial business sensibilities, into a truly defined design vision.

Electric Bowery believes successful design projects should be both approachable and inspiring—there is no "one size fits all." We are listeners, thinkers, and creators. We believe in site specificity, celebrating the landscape, collaborating with local trades, and we always put the utmost value on collaborating with our clients. The studio values collaboration with clients, design professionals, artists, and craftsmen, and draws inspiration from the diversity of people and cultures from around the world.

Electric Bowery's brand is built around four pillars: purpose, wholeness, health, and happiness. The studio strives to create environments that reflect and support clients' unique sense of purpose, achieving wholeness by helping clients find alignment in all aspects of life, and promoting mental and physical health and sustainability. Electric Bowery creates spaces that invite joy and happiness, whether alone or with others. The studio's portfolio includes single and multifamily residences, commercial spaces, restaurants, hotels, boutique shops, and interior design. The team has also pursued its own architectural development projects, which have been wholly identified, designed, and managed by the studio.
